About The Work
The BYR 99 Prime Elements series constitutes a core axis that visually actualizes the concept of the Schematic Medium. This series is composed of 99 units—33 each in Blue, Yellow, and Red. Each unit possesses a diameter of 45.72cm and a thickness of 2.54cm, designed as circular forms capable of 360-degree rotation from the center.
Blue (Square/Human Possibility and Boundary within the World)
The 'Square' is adopted as the fundamental form, captured during the process of following the movement of lines within a circle. This symbolizes the finite boundary of reality experienced by the perceptive subject. Through the diverse combination, expansion, and integration of lines, it structurally renders the conscious human order and its inherent limitations.

The 99 BYR units, constructed in this manner, evolve through physical integration or chemical fusion, creating formal indices of change, equilibrium, and unification. Each unit operates as a crucial fundamental element revealing experiences directly observed by my body and mind in every moment of life. Consequently, the 'BYR 99 Prime Elements' are not fixed formal completions of my artistic style but rather organic structures that continuously reflect and evolve with my attitude toward life and my ongoing self-reflection.
BYR Instruction Guide: 27 Actions for Existential Art Practice
To demonstrate the process by which my schemata are actually activated and embodied in life and art, I execute the following behavioral instructions, intentionally separating and systematizing everyday perception and emotion according to the structural principles of BYR.

Perceptual Boundary and Structural Establishment
This domain focuses on the act of reconstructing conscious order and exploring its limits as the subject of perception.

1. Stop and Stand. Slow your speed of thought and allow your thinking to flow like sound.
2. Observe. Every object you see is a gaze looking back at you. Observe this consciously.
3. Consciously gather the fragments of your day and re-arrange them, binding them into a single square.
4. Intentionally repeat one action per day, but confer a different meaning upon each repetition.
5. Record your sensory traces faithfully using one medium: language or image.
6. Listen to others until the very end, interpreting the meaning within the silence as a gap.
7. Intentionally break one frame within a given set of rules to dismantle the structure and seek a new perceptual equilibrium.
8. Draw the geometry of your self-consciousness and map the day’s emotional coordinates within a square.
9. Ask yourself today: "How is my perception restructuring my schemata?"
